Financial Manager Wanted for Property Management Company

Do you want to work in a broad and responsible role with attractive working hours? On behalf of our client, SJR is now looking for a Financial Manager to start in May. The company is a smaller property management firm with a warm and family-like culture, located in central Stockholm. Here, you work closely with both internal colleagues and external clients, offering a flexible work environment with a full-time position of 34 hours per week. You will start as a consultant through SJR for six months, with the intention of transitioning to a permanent position with the client thereafter.

About the Position

As a Financial Manager, you will have a central and broad role where you are responsible for the entire accounting process and support two accounting assistants. You will work closely with the CEO and have daily contact with both internal colleagues and external clients. The company is a smaller and family-oriented property management firm with short decision-making paths and a flexible work environment.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing accounting and period reconciliations
• Quarterly and monthly closings
• Year-end closings and annual reports
• Accounting and tax declarations, including VAT
• Ongoing contact with clients
• Supervision of two accounting assistants
• Approval of invoices
• Participation in audits
• Some handling of securities
• Answering incoming calls as needed (mainly maintenance requests from tenants)

Suitable Background

We are looking for someone with extensive experience in accounting and year-end work, as well as good knowledge of taxes and VAT. You have previously been responsible for or supported the supervision of accounting assistants and thrive in a role where you can work broadly and independently. You are structured, communicative, and service-oriented, and appreciate being part of a smaller, family-like team. Experience in property management or a similar industry is advantageous, as is knowledge of payroll management (preferably in Flex Payroll). It is also a plus if you have worked in any of the following systems: Vitec 3L Pro, Vitec Hyra, Vitec Ekonomi, Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting, and Microsoft Office.
